An exhilarating white from Murgo made only in the best vintages. The fruit is sourced from a single parcel on their estate on the eastern slopes of Mount Etna. A blend of Carricante (60%), Cataratto (30%), and smaller percentages of a selection of Italian varietals. Straw yellow in colour, this stunning bottling is captivating from the first, satisfying floral and white fruit notes giving way to unmistakable minerality and a long, citrus-focused finish.
A blend of Carricante and Cataratto is aged in French oak tonneaux, which contributes to a supple wine with fresh acidity, vibrant minerality, elevated harmonics, and a unique and unmistakable style with extraordinary gustatory balance. Color is straw yellow. Aromas of chamomile flower and Etna Broom, stone and tree fruits, peach and pear, mandarin, grapefruit, and minerals. Flavor is captivating and satisfying from the first, freshness intertwined with a decisive savory note, and a long citrus finish.
