"Opening with scents of petrol and cut grass, the 2017 Riesling is something of an oddity for Napa, where Riesling has largely been replaced by other varieties. Notes of paraffin, green apple and lime also appear on the nose, while the almost-dry, medium-bodied palate is cool, refreshing and stony, with a long, tangy finish and hints of beeswax and honey. It's already drinkable, but like many Rieslings, it should have a decently long drinking window." Joe Czerwinski, robertparker.com, 92 pts
A very limited-production Grüner Veltliner made from a selection of the best fruit from Tatomer's steeply-sloped John Sebastiano vineyard.
"The 2020 Riesling Kick-on Ranch is riveting. Structured and deep, with tremendous poise, the 2020 impresses with its vertical structure and overall intensity. Orchard fruit, citrus peel and dried flowers build into a crescendo of aromas and flavors. Unforgettable." Antonio Galloni, vinous.com, 95 pts
94 pts, Erin Brooks, The Wine Advocate "The 2021 Chardonnay Sta. Rita Hills is the first vintage of Chardonnay from Donnachadh. It was barrel fermented and matured for around 10 months. Its aromas combine bright herbal, green apple and pear tones with underlying savory hints. The light-bodied palate is bright and fresh, yet offers a touch of anchoring creaminess that draws out the finish."

"From an own-rooted vineyard planted in 1972, at 1400 ft, 3 miles from the Pacific (it’s Bohan Vineyard), this is fermented in French oak (20% new) and has minimum effective SO2 added. It’s sensational. Taut, fine and lemony with keen acidity, but no feeling of compression. There’s generous crystalline citrus fruit with a fine, spicy structure and a touch of salinity on the finish. Very pure and focused, but offering real complexity at low alcohol. There’s just a faint hint of mineral reduction and everything is in perfect harmony. This would be so hard to place tasted blind. I really love it." Jamie Goode, wineanorak.com, 96 pts

There is striking creaminess and oiliness to the feel, even though the malolactic fermentation was fully blocked. The 2020 is just gorgeous in the way it conveys mountain energy while avoiding any sense of austerity." Antonio Galloni, vinous.com, 95 pts
17/20 Jancis Robinson - 'Lustrous pale green-gold. Richer, broader and arguably a tad more interesting than the Sonoma Coast 2020 bottling. A wine with real texture and drive and with comfortable fruit-acid balance. Crystalline structure and hugely appetising.'
The vineyards at Mayacamas yield crops of small, intensely flavoured fruit, resulting in this beautifully crafted Chardonnay.
This excellent Chardonnay is considered one of California’s longest-lived white wines ... but you may find it hard to resist cracking it open at the first opportunity.

Mineral driven, delicate and crystalline. Lemon zest, brioche, and struck flint on the nose. Mouth-watering acidity with oyster-shell minerality on the palate of Meyer lemon and pear with a drop of candied lemon and sea salt on the finish.
The Sanford & Benedict vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA produces some of California's best Chardonnays. Childhood friends Duncan Arnot and Nathan Roberts use fruit from and old-vine section of this legendary site to produce a wine as iconic as the vineyard it comes from.
