Certified organic, dry single vineyard Riesling from one of the premium vineyard sites of Rheinhessen. The wine is vinified and aged in 100% stainless steel, but with 20 hours of destemmed maceration and gentle pressing, which imparts a richness of mouthfeel to an aromatic food friendly wine.
Ripe aromas of pineapple and nectarine. In the mouth, the wine is full bodied dry, round and long in the finish
100% Riesling grown in deep rooting ice age loess and loam which warms easily in summer and departs a unique minerality to the wine
Carl Koch winery is located in the town of Oppenheimer adjacent to the regionally famous Sacktrager vineyard sites
